These Rules are developed in accordance with the "Regulations on the library of JSC" Academy of Civil Aviation "and regulate the general procedure for organizing services to readers, the rights and obligations of the library and the reader.
2. General rules for the use of the Information and Library Complex.
2.1. All categories of readers have the right to use the library (students of all forms of education, undergraduates, doctoral students, faculty, staff of the Academy).
2.2. The main types of information and library services are provided free of charge.
2.3. The issuance of literature for long-term use (at home) is carried out on a subscription. The last or only copy shall not be issued.
2.4. Registration of users in the library is made upon presentation of a document certifying that the user belongs to the organization: for students - a student card, for teachers, employees and other categories of readers - a certificate from the place of work, an identity card and one photo measuring 3 * 4 cm.
2.5. The reader is issued a unified library card for the right to use the library and the reader's form is filled out. When registering for the library, users are familiarized with the Library's Terms of Use and confirm their commitment to fulfill them by signing in the reader's form.
2.6. The library card is valid for one academic year. Every year the library conducts re-registration of users with the presentation of all the literature listed for them within the terms set by the library and the extension of the library card. The library does not service users who have not been re-registered.
2.7. Upon leaving the educational institution, users return to the library their titles and library cards.
2.8. Users who violate the rules of use or cause damage to the library bear material, administrative responsibility provided for by the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Rules for using the library.
2.9. Users responsible for the loss or damage to publications replace them with the same publications or publications recognized by the library as equivalent, and if replacement is impossible, reimburse their real cost.
3. Rules for using the subscription.
3.1. On the Subscription, literature is issued for the following periods: - educational and educational-methodical literature is issued for the period of study of the relevant discipline with mandatory re-registration within the prescribed period; - scientific and special literature is issued for 10 days in the amount of up to 3 books; - fiction is issued for no more than 10 days in the amount of 1-2 books;
3.2. The term of use may be extended if there is no demand for the materials from the users, or vice versa, reduced if the publications are available in one copy or are in high demand.
3.3. For each copy of the taken publication, the user signs on the reader's or book form.
3.4. Part-time students using distance learning technologies are provided with the necessary literature in the intersessional and sessional period.
3.5. Literature for use in group lessons is issued on a subscription at the written request of the teacher. The teacher is responsible for the literature received in group lessons.
3.6. It is forbidden to transfer library materials to third parties.
4. Rules for using the reading room.
4.1. Issuance of books in the reading room is carried out with a single library card.
4.2. Articles from magazines, collections of scientific papers, abstracts, materials from books are subject to copying.
4.3. It is not allowed to enter the reading room with personal books and books from the library fund and other printed materials.
4.4. It is forbidden to take literature out of the reading room.
5. Rules for using the electronic hall.
5.1. The user has no right to use the computer without the permission of the librarian manager.
5.2. Internet access is provided to all library readers, solely as a means of obtaining information.
5.3. Internet access sessions should not be used for illegal activities (distribution of advertisements and computer viruses, attempts to unauthorized access to Internet resources).
5.4. Any interference with the installed software, including its settings, is prohibited.
5.5. It is allowed to work at one personal computer no more than two people at the same time.
5.6. Turning computers on and off is performed only by an employee of electronic resources.
5.7. It is forbidden to leave running computers unattended, to open the computer power supplies and peripheral devices, monitor cases.
5.8. Users are required to prevent foreign objects, liquids, and loose materials from entering the computer and peripheral devices.
5.9. Users are obliged to follow the Safety and Fire Protection Instructions for work in the electronic hall of the IBK.
5.10. The library is not responsible for poor quality or lack of communication.
5.11. The library is not responsible for the content, accuracy and quality of information from the Internet.
6. Rules for using the fund of rare and valuable books.
6.1. Literature from a rare fund is issued upon request only for work in the reading room.
6.2. To obtain literature, the reader submits an application to the librarian manager in the reading room. For each requested print, the request indicates: the author's surname, his initials, book title, inventory number.
6.3. When working with rare and valuable publications, the reader should handle them with care and not take any actions that could harm them in any way.
6.4. In order to ensure the safety of funds, photocopying is not subject to:
- valuable books of a rare fund;
- encyclopedias;
- other materials at the discretion of the library.
7. The rights and obligations of the reader.
7.1. Readers have the right to:
- use free of charge the main types of library and information services provided to the library;
- receive advice in the search and selection of information sources;
- use the data of the electronic catalog, Internet services and other information services if there is electronic equipment in the library;
7.2. Readers are required to:
- to obtain literature, present a library card and sign for each publication in a book or reader's form;
- take good care of books, other printed works, other materials, do not make marks in them, do not tear or bend pages, do not spoil the surface of multimedia carriers;
- prevent damage to the library, computer equipment or other equipment in the library, treats furniture in the library with care;
- return the publications received in the library on time;
- takes good care of the library card, do not transfer the library card to another person;
- upon receipt of library materials, carefully examine the copies received and if any defects are found in them, inform the library employee about this, otherwise the reader who used the material last bears responsibility for damage;
- those studying at the Academy, at the end of the academic year, as well as upon their departure from the Academy (expulsion, academic leave), return to the library all materials written in the name of the reader;
- do not enter the library in outer clothing;
- do not enter the reading room with bags;
- not to bring food, drinks, animals into the library;
- observe silence, cleanliness and order;
7.3. Readers' responsibility:
- readers who have caused damage to the library fund bear material and other liability in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- in case of loss or damage to books, other printed works and other materials from the library fund, the reader is obliged to replace them with the same works and materials, respectively;
- if it is impossible to replace lost and damaged books, other printed works and other materials, the reader is obliged to reimburse their market value;
- if the reader, after being reminded three times about the need to return, does not return the library materials, then he is deprived of the right to use the library;
- for unauthorized removal of literature from the library, the reader is deprived of the right to use the library for 2 (two) months;
- for violation of these rules, readers may be deprived of the right to use the library for up to 3 (three) months.
